The Brightest Star

You thought there was no god to give you a soul
So why would you want to grow old.
The devil put it in your mind
So you thought leaving this world would be fine.

But little did you know what that really cost
For a gentle kind man the world has lost.
I hope were your at now you finally get to rest
For mankind has truly lost one of their best.

When our lord looks upon you
I know he'll have the same compassion as I do.
Even though you thought he was not around
All you had to do was look and he would have been found.

When I look at The Brightest Star
I 'll always know that's were you are.
And I know you will have peace and never have to run
Because now your with the father and son.
